The Sharjah International Award for Cultural Heritage

An international recognition award with codified scientific standards, granted by the SIH to individuals, groups or projects. Its main goal is to appreciate the efforts made in preserving, protecting, and studying cultural heritage and ensuring its sustainability. It is divided into three fields namely: best practices for preserving elements of cultural heritage, the best narrators (living human treasures), the best research and studies in cultural heritage. These fields include nine categories, three categories in each field: local, Arab, international.
